So far I have lost 30 total.... only 20 more to meet my goal.... hopefully by the summer. I have hit a stand still and have taken back on some of my unhealthy eating habits. time ot break that hsit and start it back up again.

12. Have a movie moment - COMPLETE!

Okay so I always said I wanted my movie moment to be a grand romantic guesture but alas it was not. But while in Mexico I experienced my own horrid movie moment.

SCENE - poolside party at swim up bar. TONS of hot guys and girls partying in pool.

enter CARA trying ot act so cool in her new cute sun dress and sun glasses. Hair all done straight with a cute little sun hat.... very beachy looking. anyways.... trying ot be all cool walking ot the pool for the first time ever and checking out some hot guys and then cue CARA falling on her ass as she slips on a puddle of water right in front of the swim bar. I am then completely mortified and my friend quickly grabs my hand to pull me up. Needless to say I died a little inside and then walked slowly everytime I was near the bar from that day on.

38. Swim with dolphins! COMPLETE!!!!

Just got back from Mexico where I completed this task and wow was it amazing! Such a great experience.

While in Mexico I picked my parents up some booze, vanilla, and hot sauce.... just because...
I also made my friends drinking cups to hold our booze while on vacation which is a perfect just because gift because I wanted us all to have matching ones!

So my best friend started tattooing and i have been telling her that i will get one from here soon. so anyways one hting lead ot another and it officially happened. so she started the tattoo on my leg and it still needs to be finished. I could only sit for the outline and a little bit of shading but she still has a lot to go so no pictures till its fully finished but just know that

92. Eat at a fondue restaurant - COMPLETE!
While on my Mexican vaca we ate at a fondue restuarant on the resort. It was amazing! LOVE LOVE LOVE cheese fondue! It was really classy a 5 course meal type thing. And loved every bite!

93. Go to 20 new resturatns that I have never been to. (10/20)
While in Mexico we ate at Misu (Japanese), Mama Mia (Italian), and La Fondue (Fondue). All glorious!
I also ate at Motor Burger with some friends in Windsor! Highly reccommend it to all!
And I had a dinner date with my brother to Iguana for some sushi which I must say is not as good as Niko Sushi in Tecumseh.... just sayin....

I got one from someone and then I decided ot try solving it for a month and it didnt work so i moved on to watching a youtube tutorial video and then I did it!

I have decided to make this one for random acts of kindness as well as presents. So the other day at work it was a blizzard outside and as I finished a girl I work with and I ran out ot our cars and she got in to start hers. I grabbed out my ice scraper and cleaned off both our cars so she didnt have ot get out. So go me random act of kindness and the present was she didnt have to go out in the snow and get wet!

While in my placement in Teachers college at the school I volunteered for the Breakfast club program. This club makes snacks for kids to eat in the morning before they learn so that way they aren't hungry and can concentrate.

I also volunteered to help clean up and organize their book room.

I went ot Toronto for my 26th birthday weekend htis year with my parents and Hailey. They got us tickets to see Wicked live in Toronto. Wow it was great! The show was amzing visually to watch all the sets and lighting. The costumes were fantastice. But the story itself was great how it tied in to Wizrd of Oz so perfectly. I loved it so much. It was a great birthday present. :)

In September of this year Cardinal Music put on Rent at the Capitol Theater and it was amazing. It actually had me in tears. I was so emotionally moved from seeing it live. I had only seen the movie version and had never been too fascinated by it, but the play captured me. On stage the company was amazing. It featured local and professional talent which was a great mix to watch. It was an amazing show.

I have found a new love for sushi since my friends and I have taken a liking to Niko Sushi. Its a great little restaurant with an amazing sushi sauce. I am a big fan of the vegetarian sushi. Not too much of a raw fish kind of kid unless its crab then im ok. I enjoy a glass of white wine and some rolls.... mmm mmm.

21. Learn to Dive -- COMPLETED!

This summer while at the cottage my niece Hailey gave me some diving lessons or pointers so she could help me learn. I actually managed to do a dive from standing but it looks more like a fall over. I have yet to master a jumping dive. Maybe next summer I will be able to with more practice! The good part is that I actually did the dive since I was so scared to fall in head first but I just sucked it up and did it.

I bought my very own Dell mini for going back ot University and it has been the best purchase of life right now. I have soooo many breaks at school and without it I would never get all my work done or have some way to kill the time during my twelve hour school day. love love love my computer!

In July this past year I decided to venture up to cottage country with some of my friends. We had a great week filled with drinking and relaxing. Amazing weather to top it off....

anyways.... while I was there we went swimming out in the rain... which was a very cool experience in itself and while raining my friends sang unwritten for me as I danced on the dock. AMAZING! So thanks to them I can now check this one off!

ok so heres a big update since i have been mia for soooo long...

14. Pick a career path - COMPLETED!
so in september I decided to apply for teachers college because I figured it would actually be a job that i would enjoy doing for the rest of my life and i could fit all my passions into this one job. perfect fit. so i waited and waited till april 1st when the schools got back to you annnnnnnd i am happy to announce that i got in to windsor! which is great because i can still live at home and save money while im going to school for the year. so yay i have finally found an occupation that i will be able to enjoy doing for the rest of my life.

15. Pay off Credit card debt - COMPLETED!
well i got a huge income tax return this year since i hadn't filed in over three years so it was a huge surprise and help since i just piled it all on to my credit card! now i can actually say that it is entirely paid off! yes credit debt free... now on to that student loan of mine....

19. Find a job that I can stand to do for the rest of my life - in progress
we shall keep this one in progress since i still ave to complete my schooling as stated above but then i will be able to check this one off once im done and i have a job!

So this past couple of days I was in toronto visiting my mom and taking in the Harry Potter exhibition. yes i am a huge nerd. anyways so I had thursday all to myself and decided to go check out a movie. and while doing this i accomplished my number 77 on the list. it has been a long time since i have looked at this list since i took a little break from all this blogging but i am happy that i have accomplished something else. so yay me! I went to see kickass which was sooo cool in itself. i loved all the action and especially hit girl. awesome movie for sure.

2. Lose 50 pounds - in progress
so i joined a gym exactly one week ago. it is close to my house and so far i have been off to a good start i am trying to go as much as possible and this past week i only missed two days due to work conflicting with the times. so 5 out of 7 days is not bad for the first week. i have a good set-up too since the gym is open till 11pm at night i can go every night after work at around 930 and work out for an hour at least. and when i am at play rehearsal i can slide in after as well since i never rehearse later than 930 either. so all is good. this is my first step to losing some weight. hopefully it works out.

33. Read 20 Books (11/20) - in progress
i read two books by suzanne collins (yes they were teen fiction. shock) they were part of a three book series. the first one is called, the hunger games, and the second one is called, catching fire. i absolutely loved them so much. i could not put them down from start to finish. i was so excited to read them fully. they are amazing books and i recommend them to everyone. such a good story line and i cant wait for the final book to come out as well. they were definitely a re-read type of book. i will probably re-read them after i am finished reading the book i am currently on which is the lost symbol aka another da vinci code book.

37. Go on a vacation with friends --- COMPLETED!!!
Well about two weeks ago i went to vegas with some of my friends from work. it was a blast. i had such an amazing time and cant wait to do round two. haha. but on a serious note this trip was exactly what i needed and wanted in a vaca. lots of drinking, partying, and hanging out poolside. what more could i have asked for? glorious times with a glorious crew. we stayed at the ny ny which was a great hotel much better than the flamingo that i stayed at my first time i went. just a better atmosphere there. i would definitely stay there again. and it was not too crowded just a perfect time to go on vacation.

blink 182!!!!! i went to see blink for my second time and it was just as great as my first. they played with falloutboy and panic at the disco and they were all great. i danced well actually in my case shoulder shimmied the whole night. travis is sooo sick. his drum solo killed and as always i dont think you could ever not like blink music. they are just good fun summer time music.

6. Make a cookbook with all my parents recipes
so far i have bought a recipe box instead of an actual book. i think this will be more fitting for me to easily put recipes in. i like the look and idea of the box itself which holds little cue cards of recipes. so far i have taken the recipes i needed from sandy and now when i go up north to my cottage next week im gonna scrounge through my moms. this way i can have a good load of them. heres a list of the recipes i have put in here so far: - flaming cheese - warm crab dip - spinach dip both cold and warm - chicken potato caesar salad - peanut butter cookies - cream cheese frosting - chocolate zucchini bread so hopefully i get fill up my box that way once i move out i will have a bunch of stuff i can make on my own. * the pictures on the sides are my cute box and recipe cards :) *

Night World: Secret Vampire, Daughters of Darkness, Spellbinder - L Jane Smith
i have borrowed a series from a friend at work called nightworld and they are a series of books based around this secret world full or vampires, shapeshifters, and witches. its an okay series, they are very easy reads and fast. the books i have are three stories in one. so far I have read the first book of three and i am now on to the second book with three more stories. i want to pick up her vampire diaries set as well because i am interested in reading those before the television show comes out this fall.

37. Go on a vacation with friends
i have booked a vegas trip with some of the kids i work with at telus. we are going in september for four days three nights. it should be ridiculous... we are staying at new york new york.

Attend 5 concerts (0/5) i bought tickets to see blink 182 at dte august 22nd, with farah. i am super pumped and think its gonna be an amazing show. i saw them last time at the same venue and it was great so this should be just as good. i also bought tickets to see brand new at the fillmore october 2nd for brandon and me to go as his brithday present. so that should be sick considering i tried to go see them play this past month and could not get tickets for the life of me.

So yesterday i went to warped tour and got to see alexisonfire :) it was a good time as always it just sucks when you see them at such a huge event because they only get allotted a half an hour slot for play time. so that's pretty much like 6 songs plus some chatting with the crowd. so i would have liked to get a decent set out of them but its all good. i got my watch out cd signed too which will add to my collection of aof stuff. it was also my first time at warped tour which was a cool experience in itself.

things the i disliked about warped tour...
- why would 3oh3 be playing or the millionaires... both bands are lame.
- there are so many dirty kids walking around with no shoes. sick.
- i saw lots of vendors selling michael jackson shirts? what? really?

things i liked...
- alexisonfire, underoath
- seeing all the ugly tattoos kids have
- checking out some bands i had never heard

so all in all it was a good day. the sun fried me though and i was re-hydrating myself all day off of beers which probably isnt a good thing. hence why i must have felt sick last night. but ya a good accomplished goal.

96. See Spring Awakening - COMPLETED!

so i ended up going to toronto this week for two days to visit sarah and also see spring awakening on tour. it was amazing. the music is so great and the actors were awesome. i had already known all about the play since i had looked up clips for the broadway cast on youtube and listened ot all the music before going. so i was obsessed with seeing it and then it came true on wednseday. we went to the matinee showing at the canon with all the silver foxes haha. anyways the women behind us obviously didnt know anything about the play at all because they were hoping for the play to liven up more which is funny considering the show is about teenagers, sex, suicide and abuse. Come on lady what made you think this play would be the upbeat type? but anyways i loved it. here are a couple pics documenting the completion....

while in toronto sarah, shawn and i went out for dinner at the pickle barrel. it was really good food. we had a lobster and artichoke dip with chips to start and then i had shrimp and crab pasta as my meal. the food was delicious and so filling. the only downside to the restaurant was that the menu was huge so it took forever to decide what to order. since there was sooooo much to choose from.

96. See Spring Awakening (96-98 are all musicals that I have been dying to see but haven't got a chance too yet.)

so i noticed that next week i have a few days off in a row and by chance one of my friends whom lives in toronto text me saying that she heard spring awakening is in toronto and she really wants ot see it. so i got all excited and sent her a message back saying that i wanted to see it as well. so i have three days off in a row and i decided that i am going to venture up to toronto. so i just bought tickets online for wednesday matinee show. im pumped. this musical is going to be so good. i have been following the music and all the internet craziness around it for a while now and since it is just set off on the national tour this is a perfect time. this is the first tour of it as well so its the original tour cast playing. check out the website and the music. its really good and has a rock edge to it. so yay in less than a week i will have another complete to add to the list.

i have finished yet another book.

it's the new one to be released in the james patterson maximum ride series called 'max'. it was actually pretty good. i enjoyed it and read it extremely fast which is always a good sign. the is one dealt more with character relationships especially max and fang rather than fighting bad guys. and i also liked that it was 'environmentally friendly over-kill' which i found a couple of the other books to be. it was just good. and they are going to be releasing a movie coming out in 2010 based on the first book. which is pretty sick. only 12 more books till i complete the task!

so i have been reading this series of books by j.r. ward called the black dagger brotherhood. its about these vampires that are in a brotherhood and they fight against evil things and fall in love. they are adult books so they have some graphic sex scenes in them which is a change from all those teen books i was reading... but anyways each book is about a different brother and the woman they fall in love with. but ya they are pretty good. very different from twilight but still good none the less... if you like a good raunchy romance novel then i would definitely suggest these for you... i read the first five and i still have one more to... so i have completed five more parts to my 20 books to read which puts me at seven...

so amanda put some really cool songs on it such as the veronicas, rob pattinson, the flowbots, and ryan gosling. i however did not like the david cook songs (sorrrry amanda i just cant get into him) but all in all good cd. so thank you amanda for that completion.

update on nail biting --- its been 10 days since i have bitten them. but i still feel the urge ot really bad so im waiting until that supresses in order ot say its complete.

ok so i have not bitten my nails for three whole days which seems like nothing but thats only if you don't know me. i bite my nails all the time. usually i just do it without even realizing that i am doing it. they actually feel like they are growing fast too which is cool. the best part about having long nails is for massaging/scratching my scalp. it feels soooooooooo good now. especially when im shampooing my hair in the shower or after a long day of having my hair all pinned up. glorious. so these are my nails on day 3 of no biting... i shall post once they are really long and i have cut out the habbit completely.

review: another disappointing vampire book that cannot compare to twilight... i still however will read the whole series as i cant just read one and not the rest. the book was pretty much high school drama book but they made them vampires at a all vampire high school... same sterotypes... new girl becomes enemies with the popular bitchy girl and falls for her hot boyfriend. then she sabotages the bitchy popular girl and steals her throne and gets the hot boyfriend blah blah blah... didn't this happen in every teen movie i have ever watched?

1. Daniel X by James Patterson
review: well this was not very good considering how hyped up i was to read it. i absolutely feel in love with patterson's maximum ride series so i was excited when he decided to come out with another series of books about daniel x... wah wah. not very good. i just found the book couldn't keep my attention and didn't have good enough character relationships in the book. daniel is very kept to himself so the book is mostly about him and i felt it needed more character interaction with it. i loved how maximum ride had the little family of kids and it showed how they related to one and other which was part of the appeal to me was how each character dealt with each other. where as with daniel x, i wanted him to keep interacting with his little group of 'friends' more but it never happened.

today i went car shopping to mark the start of my list. it was a very cold day but i still checked out a few cars. so i am still going to go to a couple more places but i have narrowed the search down to a chrysler product preferably a jeep and nothing white or silver. here are three of the cars that i liked when i looked around so far:

so i will hopefully soon pick one out after this weekend and then be the proud first time buyer of a car :) yay!

The Beginning

ok so i have decided that i am now starting my 101 things since i have just finalized my list.

so today officially marks the first day on my new adventure of doing things that i always wanted to do but haven't gotten around to doing or doing things that i want to do again since it has been so long.

i will be documenting as much as possible with these tasks that way i can keep track and also to make it more interesting. i will be blogging, posting pics, and video clips showing my progress.
